🚨 We're aware of intermittent login and matchmaking issues in Fortnite, and we're investigating.

@FortniteStatus You fixed the lobby and menu systems while the gameplay itself is now chunky and laggy. It's nearly unplayable for me on PC. I'll load back in later tonight, however, moving into the weekend I see it only getting worse.

Tomorrow's v39.30 update will fix several lag issues players have reported in the Locker and Lobby menu screens, such as delays when emoting, changing screens, or navigating your Locker. We'll have additional fixes for this issue in future updates after v39.30. Thanks for reporting and let us know how it improves!

@Breezywrldlol @FortniteStatus Try to clear the button mapping and then reassign it. That's what fixed it for me.

@FortniteStatus Hi @FortniteStatus I have a controller bug for months where L3 (mapped to Jump) keeps triggering Sprint or sprint jump no matter what settings I change. I’ve reset binds, reinstalled the game, checked Auto-Run, etc. Nothing fixes it. Many players are reporting the same issue.

PSA: We just sent out a fix for the "double edit bug." Thanks for reporting!

@FortniteStatus The medallions are vaulted? I understand that for some people it may be difficult for some people to fight against, but that's a skill issue. It's not impossible to win against the medallions, and it wasn't too terrible trying to acquire them from the queens.
