IDK, for me the Fermi Paradox is pretty convincing.... Is that not well known in Japan?
The argument that if you break down the math on how many planets we can see which are in the "habitable zone" and the chances of life developing on them means it's a near mathematical certainty Alien life exists
The paradox being, if it exists, why don't we see it.. But there are MANY answers for that. We could be an old species. We could also be listening in the wrong way. Or it could be the Dark Forest hypothysis
We are also in a particularly empty region of space where things are WAY more spaced out than they are in most of the rest of the observable universe as well, which could have something to do with it
