My Analysis from yesterday Kepa: is a very limited gk. Couldn’t build from the back, shaky when catching the ball. Pep knew all this. City put in a lot of crosses and their goals came from it. White: looks unfit, was better in the first half but his legs were gone in the second half. Tbf doku didn’t do much. But i think him starting was the right choice. Saliba: Motm performance. Was solid on the night. Haaland didn’t have a sniff. He didn’t put a foot wrong. Gabriel: was solid as usual, hincapie on yellow meant he was always dragged out of position to help him out as trossard could care less about defending. Hincapie: why he started this game is beyond me. Calafiori played few mins in our last game, i believe by now he was fully recovered. The yellow meant he was even more scared to make a tackle and city smelt blood from there. Their 2 goals came from his side. Arteta should have subbed him at half time. Zubimendi: what is he actually good at? He can’t play under pressure. Its easy to say but, this is the bare minimum for a pro. His inability to control games made it easy for city to play through the middle. Rice: was better than the rest in the mf but was an average outing. He didn’t do much wrong because city dominated that mf, he was left chasing shadows. Havertz: never a mf, will never be. Either play him as a 9 or don’t play him at all. Lost the ball for their second goal and was walking back. He lost a lot if duel, couldn’t win any header against Ake or khusanov, this shows he shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting 11. Saka: i laugh when i see him being called WC lol. Bro is a poor man moses simon. Can’t beat his man, can’t shoot, can’t cross. Very selfish. Surely he can’t be finished at 24. For a captain and you play like this in a final? He should be starting from the bench if Arteta had any brain. Trossard: the person that initiated that pay rise for him should be sacked. He hasn’t turned up since nov. surely this is his last season here. He was abysmal yesterday. Gyokeres: this player divides opinion but yesterday he wasn’t bad but couldn’t affect the game because there was zero supplies. Haaland alike, they feed on passes but zero came to them. He could have done better as well. Martinelli,Madueke: these are supposed to be game changers? I will ship both to saudi in a heartbeat. G.Jesus: how is this player still here? We needed a goal and arteta brought him on? I don’t want to see him next season. Calafiori: was by far the best player when he came on. He deserved to start. Arteta: Gambled and it backfired. Played into pep’s hands.
