@JeremiahDJohns I'm guessing you don't watch Hasan. You can't really judge a guy who has probably talked for tens of thousands of hours, and all unscripted, by a few clips, some a decade old.

There's something missing from the Hasan Piker discourse. Hasan's fans and critics often overlook the most troubling fact about him. The core problem with Hasan Piker is that, on a fundamental level, he doesn't believe in liberal democracy. x.com/CNLiberalism/s…
New Liberals 🇺🇦🇹🇼🇬🇱🌐@CNLiberalism

Hasan Piker promotes authoritarian regimes and political violence. Democrats should be cautious about trying to ally with him. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/has…

Imagine being a Republican in the 1990s. You had the Governorships in New York State and California plus the Mayorships in New York City and Los Angeles.

When asked if he took the post down because of Gaines' and others' criticism, President Trump said no. "I didn't listen to Riley Gaines. I'm not a big fan of Riley, actually."

NEW: Trump explains to @NorahODonnell why he removed the AI image of himself: “Normally I don’t like doing that, but I didn’t want to have anybody be confused. People were confused.” He said he believed the photo depicted him as a doctor, not Jesus. More: cbsnews.com/news/trump-pop…

@joysulz @tomas_s242 I was thinking there’s probably a legislative staffer who is also a wiki editor in their spare time. Would fit the mold for a policy (or politics) nerd working for a legislature to have that as a hobby imo

@TheAleksee Iowa has a lot of people who dislike Trump but the problem for Dems is that those folks are generally non-college educated whites. And while they may not be happy with Trump, it’s a hard pill to swallow for that group en masse to vote for a Democrat.

@_roxanne_92 @shazzity Makes sense since Kander was from KC. Great evidence that in a state like Missouri margins in rural areas matter a LOT

@realCWhitehouse @Ollie_XVX I’m not making a judgement about whether Sand’s messaging to apolitical Iowans is or will be effective, as you appear to be making. I don’t know if it’s going to work or not. We certainly haven’t tried anything like this in Iowa before though.

@realCWhitehouse @Ollie_XVX You disagree that Sand is reaching non-political Iowans? I’m just saying I see many interactions w his content from people I know to be apolitical at best on FB, Twitter. I think that’s critical bc he cannot mathematically win with only partisan Iowans.

@HerschHerschel2 @Ollie_XVX I disagree- consider the many gov appointees who run Medicaid and all the other state agencies that would no longer be appointed by someone hostile to the idea of government. And remember judges too- our IA courts need balance. Those would both be good outcomes to electing sand

@Ollie_XVX Electing Sand means that he will sign like 75-90% of Republican legislation into law anyway. I don’t really see this as a great achievement even if it does happen.

@DMerschbrock I think his plan called for approval voting in the general election with the top 4, rather than ranked choice but still. I like approval voting tbh

I do support the Rob Sand ranked choice voting plan. Open primary with the top-4 advancing to ranked choice general. Socialists could crack the top 4 quite a bit I think. #IAGov

Interesting profile of Whitmer, which includes a one paragraph summation of maybe the most underratedly important thing to happen in U.S. politics in the past decade
