There's something missing from the Hasan Piker discourse. Hasan's fans and critics often overlook the most troubling fact about him.

@TheAleksee Iowa has a lot of people who dislike Trump but the problem for Dems is that those folks are generally non-college educated whites. And while they may not be happy with Trump, it’s a hard pill to swallow for that group en masse to vote for a Democrat.

While I’m skeptical of an 8 point lead, I feel this isn’t entirely misleading. With Iowa Republicans absolutely running this state into the ground over the last 16 years, with Trump’s insanity, and with Feenstra being an dork with zero charisma, I don’t feel it’s impossible

@HerschHerschel2 @Ollie_XVX I disagree- consider the many gov appointees who run Medicaid and all the other state agencies that would no longer be appointed by someone hostile to the idea of government. And remember judges too- our IA courts need balance. Those would both be good outcomes to electing sand
