Wear was the niggas with full tattoo sleeves and neck tats playing against Jordan ? They ain’t see that until Iverson and Now That’s All you See! Iverson literally brought Hip Hop into the direct forefront of the NBA.

@JamesJa14090207 @EricSpracklen This. I am 43 and we bought our forever house in 2023 and the property taxes have went up $420 a month in 3 years. Most people buy their house to live in, who cares what Zillow says it’s worth if you aren’t selling?

@EricSpracklen If you brought your house to live in, and can afford it. Market value fluctuation means nothing. A crash is beneficial. City better bring those assements and property taxes down to reflect the market, just as quick as they raised them for profit.

@KristenParlay23 Fucking broccoli was 6.99 yesterday. Each. Like, not a big one, we needed 2 of them for a family of 5. $14 For a side item. Was 2/$5 not long ago. Chicken $10/lb need 2. Bag of red potatoes $7. That’s a normal ass cheap dinner. $41 before any sauces or sides so call it $50.

@FuxwitLim Up til that point I was recording Yo MTV Raps on VHS and running it back. We didn’t have much in Northern Michigan early 90’s. My neighbor had Chronic and Doggystyle he got when he went to Chicago 😂

@TonyDaDome I’m 43. They were both dope. The East-vs-West beef was fun until it wasn’t. Biggie was the perfect MC, Pac was a great Rapper. But Pac was a whole other animal, cause he was just as good if not better in movies. Both legends.

I tell you what, before I speak to ppl about PAC & Biggie, I’m going to start asking you your age because some of y’all are just engagement farming right now. I also need to make sure you’re not in Africa as well because lord most of those accounts are ridiculous.

@SwordofRao @indexnforgetit You’re overthinking it,that’s the issue. You can afford it, buy it. Then next time prices double you won’t be crying, you will be the “lucky” one that everyone else will be complaining about. Buying a house isn’t this monumental thing people make it out to be. You’re able, do it.

@indexnforgetit You’re not factoring in that the job market for millennials has always been unsteady. Older generations had jobs with pensions. They had much bigger security nets. I make 100k+ a year and I’m 33, but I would never buy a home because I don’t know what the job market will look like

Millennials have had 20+ years to build a life We're the first generation who's had access to unlimited free education through the internet, ease of investing through online brokerages and a real estate crash that brought houses down to the most affordable level in history If you're pushing 40 or older and haven't figured it out yet, it's on you
Maryam@hell_line0

I’m afraid that when millennials get old and can’t work anymore, a lot of us are going to end up homeless. There was just no way to get ahead. We worked just to pay off debt, and for many of us, there was never a real opportunity to save or buy a home because everything was so expensive. I genuinely worry that we’re going to see an entire generation of elderly millennials struggling just to survive, and that’s heartbreaking.

Ppl keep talking about the best 3 or 4 rap album runs in history and nobody mentioned Too $hort doing 6 straight platinum before his "retirement" at age 30 with Gettin' It. Gotta be damn near the best run next to Kendrick.

PepsiCo, the parent company of Doritos, lost over $1 billion after raising the price of a bag of Doritos to $6-$7. People stopped buying them. They later lowered the price to recover some of the lost revenue, but sales are still down. I love that for them.

@KristenParlay23 Worked in restaurants in high school then all college. Not Applebees either, award winning Steakhouse with a wine cave. Owner made every server learn the kitchen and loved to party. We would go there at 2 am after the bar closed and make feasts, so I learned a LOT.

@KristenParlay23 Split. It was actually the biggest issue when she stopped working because she was in MY kitchen. I did all the cooking for the first 15 years, she wanted it now that she was SAHM. Now we actually cook together, not in a Hallmark way but more a division of labor sous chef way 😂😂
