Of the over 500,000 children at risk of being pushed into, or more deeply into, deep poverty, about 35% are Black and 30% are Latino. Taking away the #TANF would deepen the inequities that are already present in the program due to systemic racism.

@Potus says he won’t support proposals that increase poverty; he must reject policies that will strip away income and food support through #TANF which low-income families and kids rely on to make ends meet and afford essentials like rent, food, and utilities.
