Glad to have finally got round to reading Shuggie Bain, honestly a really tragic read that was tough to get through at times but a fantastic one that I can't recommend enough

Completely forgot to post about this one and I'm already halfway through the next book 😅 but Beren and Lúthien was honestly great, took me by surprise a bit in how it's all told but I really enjoyed reading how the story evolved through Tolkien's notes

Following up on Axiom's End, Truth of the Divine made for a much faster paced sequel and to its benefit, it packs plenty in its pages and works as a great warning for the dangers of falling for conspiracies and the lengths that can go to

The boyfriend got me a displate for Christmas and not only am I a) obsessed with it but am also b) fully considering getting more for my room now

This year's Christmas book haul, despite my love for all things fantasy, Shuggie Bain is easily the one I'm looking most forward to after Young Mungo completely blew me away this year 📖

Altogether though I thought it was a really fun introduction to Brandon Sanderson as an author and I'm even more excited to get started on the Stormlight Archive series come the new year

The finale to the trilogy weaved all the threads together in a satisfying way even if the final chapters felt a heavy handed in some of its messaging
