There are some people whose work speaks long after they step away and Mr. Sadhasivam has been one such presence with us over the past five years. In his time with @MilkyMistIndia, he brought a depth of knowledge across languages and legal matters, along with a steady and sincere approach to his responsibilities. What always stood out was the care he took in everything he handled. You give him something as simple as drafting and his command over language ensures it comes back with a quiet finesse that makes even simple writing stand out, with clarity and completeness. Even on his last day, he handed me a note in shorthand, a small gesture that captured his discipline, attention to detail, and the respect he has always had for his work. There is much for the younger team to learn from him. Not just in terms of skill but in the way he approached his work with consistency and commitment. I am grateful for his contributions and wish him good health and happiness in the years ahead.

Watching Sunita Williams reminds me what leadership truly is. She stayed calm, valued the team’s effort and trusted the spacecraft. Resilience and perspective matter more than fear. youtube.com/shorts/GBJMFWh…

Water powers everything in dairy! From feed cultivation to the milk you drink. But the real shift? How we manage it. Recycling, integrated supply chains, smarter allocation are quietly turning a basic resource into a strategic advantage. This World Water Day, it is clear that water is not just life, it is leadership.

We may have all heard the story of the plane, three parachutes and four very different passengers. It is not the story that matters but the questions it raises. In life and work, what guides your decisions under pressure? How do you balance skill, perspective and values when choices are not easy?

In food, trust matters more than taste. On World Consumer Rights Day, I am reminded that when someone chooses @MilkyMistIndia, they are trusting us with their family’s daily nourishment. Protecting that trust, in sourcing, processing and every decision behind the scenes, is our responsibility. Always.

Planned obsolescence was once seen as smart business. Today, it may be seen as environmental negligence. That shift tells us something about where global policy is heading. georgiatoday.ge/france-crimina….

The rise of high-protein India shows that value in dairy is changing. How will products meet these new consumer expectations? Protein is becoming the new premium in urban India. Whey drinks, high-protein curd and sports nutrition dairy formats are no longer niche. They are entering everyday consumption. Urban consumers are redefining value in dairy. It is not just freshness or taste but functional benefits and nutrition. Across India, supply chains, processing capabilities and product innovation are evolving to keep pace. The future of dairy will be defined not by volume alone but by how well products align with changing lifestyles and nutritional priorities. My thanks to Sachin Anand for sharing your positive feedback on our Milky Mist Paneer. youtube.com/shorts/K8VPF6E… @milkymistindia

“Doodh Hai Wonderful.” Three decades ago, when the National Dairy Development Board launched this campaign, it was responding to concerns around urban milk consumption. Today, India leads the world in milk production, with per capita availability above the global average. States like Tamil Nadu are strengthening the ecosystem beyond production — modern processing, organised procurement and deeper value chains. The real shift may no longer be about volume, but about how intelligently we build the ecosystem around it.

India has invested $13B in distributed solar through PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and PM-KUSUM, adding 35 GW, as reported by Business Standard.business-standard.com/industry/news/… More than half of this capacity came in just 15 months. Solar + AI integration could lower power costs and strengthen industrial competitiveness. Encouraging to see. Solar powers our home and our manufacturing facilities. This builds resilience. #SolarEnergy #EnergyTransition #AI #India

Sometimes an image explains a management problem better than any presentation. I have experienced this first-hand and learned it the hard way. Micromanagement often comes from good intent, but when every step is tightly controlled, a lot of energy gets spent while progress quietly stalls. I will admit it. I have done it too. What I have learned over the years is this. Teams do not need constant oversight. They need clarity, direction and the space to take responsibility, make mistakes and adapt. At times, the most effective thing a leader can do is step back and let the team find its rhythm.

I came across a question that made me pause and think: What’s one lesson life taught you the hard way? What I learned the hard way is that some lessons are not clear at first. They only make sense over time, through responsibility and experience, often after decisions that felt right at the moment, but revealed their meaning much later. Experience does not just teach you what to do. It teaches you what to be patient about.

I have been following the decision to impose a seasonal ban on summer paddy cultivation in parts of Uttarakhand - timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/to-save-… While this is a regional policy response, the concern it points to is much wider. Water stress is no longer a distant issue. It is something farmers are already adjusting to. Even from conversations and observations across different farming regions, the pattern feels familiar. When crop choices are restricted without enough support during the transition, it can affect income stability, fodder availability and trust in the system. Policies like these may be necessary. On the ground, they tend to work best when farmers are offered clear alternatives, assured pathways and practical guidance, especially when margins are already tight. Sustainability cannot come only through restrictions. It is built through planning, incentives and shared responsibility across the value chain. When farmers are asked to adapt, the system has to adapt with them.

When family or friends visit from abroad, the first thing many of us look for is chocolate. Why? Because for years, we believed we could not get that same quality and taste here. But what if we could? Instead of wishing someone to bring it, we decided to create it. With the same care, the same richness and the same joy that makes a bite of good chocolate unforgettable. Crafted with the finest cocoa beans sourced from around the world and premium milk solids, @MilkyMistIndia's Capela Chocolates is our attempt to close that gap - milkymist.com/chocolate Please try it and tell us what you think. If you can’t find it near you, comment your pincode. I will help you locate the closest store.

I believe the best way to honour Republic Day is through the work we do every day. Work that is sincere, thoughtful and responsible. May we continue walking this path with dedication. Happy Republic Day to all my fellow Indians. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

I often get asked how I managed to build @MilkyMistIndia with very little formal education. Yes, I studied only up to school and there were many moments when I felt I didn’t know enough. But I learned by doing, by talking to farmers early in the morning before deliveries, understanding milk quality directly at the plants, listening to customers and learning from fellow entrepreneurs who shared their experiences and insights. Every conversation, every small experiment and every the mistakes I made along the way taught me lessons that shaped my approach. Does this mean education has no value? Not at all. Education has always mattered very much to me which is why I make sure my children have the opportunity, guidance, support and encouragement to learn, explore and find their own paths. I also stay involved with organisations that support primary education because I believe every child deserves the chance to learn and grow.

Has loyalty become a one-way street? I often think about this when I look at the people who have been with us since the start. Not all of them are perfect. But they’ve stayed, grown, and believed in what we built together. That kind of loyalty deserves to be returned and not replaced.
