@DrBradJohnson For the past few yrs I’ve made it a tradition to wear this quote on the 1st and last day of school. Wearing it today on my last day of Preschool. These words are still more important than any curriculum or test scores. #LoveWhoYouTeach🩷

Parents, as testing season comes to an end, remember this: a test score measures a small slice of performance on one particular day. It does not measure your child’s intelligence, potential, creativity, character, work ethic, kindness, resilience, or future success.
Some kids will score high.
Some won’t.
But years from now, nobody is going to ask the mechanic fixing your brakes…
The lineman restoring power during a storm…
The construction worker building homes…
The farmer…
The welder…
The truck driver…
The firefighter…
Or the nurse…
“What did you score on your standardized test?”
Because the world has always needed more than test takers.
It needs people who can build things.
Fix things.
Lead people.
Work hard.
Care about others.
And make a difference.
A test measures a moment.
It does not measure a life, a future, or the greatness a child may one day bring to the world

I would love your vote to be #1 Global Guru in education.
If you’ve enjoyed my content, keynotes or books on leadership, relationships, and people… I’d appreciate your vote.
Being ranked 2 is nice, but help me make this the year we finally get #1.

@DrBradJohnson All of this! Kdg ELA standards now have 5 yr olds being introduced to nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Along with proper nouns and verb tenses. What happened to basic Kdg readiness and learning through play? Many classes have taken out unstructured play…there’s no time.

@DrBradJohnson This line…“Most leadership books sound good…until Monday hits.” Reminds me of this…sitting through hours of PD, being talked at, does nothing when returning to your classroom. But living it through a story does. So much more relatable! Loved #Room212

@DrBradJohnson The perfect quote for a marquis sign too! Had this on my school’s sign for all to see. 💙

@DrBradJohnson One of my favorite quotes of yours!❤️Loved it when I taught Kdg and it still applies in my Preschool.

🚨 WOW. Border Czar Tom Homan just gave the PERFECT response to Pope Leo
"I'm a lifelong Catholic. I wish they'd STAY OUT of immigration, they don't know what they're talking about."
"Because if they wore my shoes for 40 years, and talked to a 9-year-old girl that got r*ped multiple times, or stood in the back of a tractor trailer with 19 dead aliens at my feet, including a 5-year-old boy that baked to death, if they understood the atrocities that happened on the open border, I think their opinion would change!"
"And I welcome discussion with any of them, because they don't understand illegal immigration is not a victimless crime."
"Where President Trump had the most secure border in the lifetime of this nation, right now, lives are being saved. He's saving thousands of lives a year because he has a secure border!"
"Human traffickers are out of business, right? The cartels are going bankrupt because of that secure border. I wish they'd understand that."
"Because if they did, I think they'd have a different opinion."
Mic drop.

Dear parents,
Your child does not need to be the smartest in the class, the best on the field, or the most talented in the room.
But they do need to be teachable.
We are raising a generation that can Google anything, yet too many are forgetting how to listen, how to respect, and how to learn.
Being teachable is not about grades or intelligence. It is about humility.
It is about knowing you do not have all the answers.
It is about being open when someone is trying to help you grow.
Our job is not to raise kids who always get it right.
It is to raise kids who can take feedback without shutting down.
Who can admit when they are wrong.
Who can disagree without being disrespectful.
Who can be corrected without becoming defensive.
Because in the long run, teachability will take them further than talent alone.

A stone was rolled in front of a grave.
Heavy. Final. Sealed.
The story was over.
Hope looked buried.
Everything they believed in… gone.
And then…
The stone moved.
Not so people could get in.
But so the world could see… He wasn’t there.
That’s Easter.
It’s the reminder that what looks finished isn’t always final.
That what feels buried isn’t always dead.
That what seems impossible… isn’t.
We all have moments like that.
Things we thought were over.
Dreams we buried.
Chapters we closed.
Easter says…
maybe it’s not over.
Maybe something is about to be rolled away.
Not because life is easy.
But because hope is stronger than we think.
Because faith doesn’t end at the grave.
And love… is greater than anything we’ll ever face.
And sometimes…
what looks like the end…
is just the beginning.
Happy Easter.

🚨“WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Office Members, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is SAFE and SOUND!” - President Donald J.
