A friend texted me saying she’s using an article I recently published in her class, and then generously shared about how the piece was perfect for class discussions. And I am just floored. That people actually share my work, let alone read it. More of this in academia, please. 🙏🏽

At @Target buying M&Ms because we're doing a sampling/population activity in quant research methods, and pipe cleaners & straws because we're building brains and talking cognitive development with teacher candidates. I'm just not the kind of professor that lectures 🤷🏾‍♂️

I don't ever love doing proofs or copy edits, but the current one I'm working on is really something. Some examples of editor changes: "white" to "White" "Black" to "black" "duoethnography" to "dual-ethnography" "woman" to "female" For a book on antiracist teacher prep😡
