CMNEA members were excited to join Representative Kathy Steinhoff at her re-election kick-off campaign! She did great things for CPS as a long time math teacher and President of CMNEA, and is doing great things at the Capitol!

Our apologies for failing to note her partner, Mr. Friedrick, is also a teacher at Smithton MS.

Our hearts go out to Ms. Urie (teacher, Jeff MS) and her family. After welcoming a new baby last week, they have experienced tragedy. Last night, their home burned down. Her Jeff MS family has created this fundraiser to help. gofund.me/0c4ef83b

Summer school opportunities. CPS takes pride in credit recovery and credit advancement opportunities for our students. Coming in 2024- in-seat Driver's Ed!

Positive feedback on the sessions at our PD. Data from overall feedback not fully complete yet. (Window closes this Friday.) 2385 meals served to scholars over this time.

What we are doing at CPS for achievenent, attendance and discipline.

Behavior data. Some positive movement from last October to this October. Attendance is improving too.

Grades 3-8 improvement in math and reading from year to year.

K-2 improvement in math and readimg from year to year.
