A mega plantation drive was successfully conducted across all medical blocks of District,with a total of 240 saplings planted 🌱 Inaugurated the drive at CMO Office & ANMT School, followed by active participation from all BMOs across their respective jurisdictions.

*Free eye care camp at CHC Pattan* Around 76 cataract surgeries successfully conducted, along with several minor procedures. Hundreds benefited from expert consultations, treatment & follow-up care.Big thanks to @DHSKashmir for bringing quality eye care to the doorstep of people.

Day 1 #KheloIndiaWinterGames2026: Along with DD Planning @DHSKashmir, comprehensive medical cover was supervised at all venues, including sites at 4,000 ft above sea level. Specialists, medical officers, paramedics & ambulances ensured prompt and seamless healthcare services.

Ahead of the forthcoming #KheloIndia 2026, conducted an on site review of healthcare arrangements at Gulmarg. Reviewed medical teams, ambulances & emergency response systems. A Medical Aid Centre has also been established at Apharwat Peak (Phase-II Gondola) to ensure prompt care

Along with the @BaramullaPolice and Drug Department jointly conducted surprise inspections of 18 chemist shops at Pattan near Trauma Hospital. CCTV systems and NRx medicine records were checked and found compliant. Chemists were sensitized about NCORD guidelines.

Supervised a Nasha Mukt Bharat training program for healthcare workers being organised at District training center. Highlighted the dangers of substance abuse and the vital role of healthcare professionals in awareness, prevention, and rehabilitation.@SyedAbidShah

Another life saved through timely care. A patient with massive anterolateral MI was successfully thrombolyzed today at CHC Pattan.

In view of the predicted inclement weather, successfully evacuated and shifted 3 pregnant women from hard-to-reach, snowbound areas of Medical Block Kreeri to SDH Kreeri. They are accommodated in Birth Waiting Wards and under close medical monitoring.@SyedAbidShah
