Key takeaway: We now don’t have to think about Carlton until March 29 🙏

@The_PrenderCast The drop off in intensity in the second half is mostly on the players. I’m happy to hold off for a few weeks on the coach personally 🤘🏽

Five pre-seasons to change the paradigms, standards, strength and stature of the club. The head of football has been changed. The president has been changed. Last thing is the coach. Time to go.

@NicNegrepontis @BradKlibansky I’d prefer Walsh. Love Weits but my but he’s part of the old guard that accepted mediocrity and is uninspiring/boring. Sammy is the opposite and will bring the young guys along with him much better

@BradKlibansky I still think Weiters is $1.80 favourite to be the next captain tbh. Walsh $2.40.

This would be a huge ✍️ for the Blues. 🔒 to be their next captain. 🤞 he can stay on the park this year. Walsh at his best is 🔥 Patrick Cripps, Sam Walsh, George Hewett, Adam Cerra, Cooper Lord & Jagga Smith is a decent midfield. Cody Walker to come in 2027 as well.

Exclusive – Carlton is in discussions with Sam Walsh on a SEVEN-year contract offer as the Blues star gets closer to his free agency call. Rivals haven't been able to get in the conversation for Walsh this off-season with his priority to remain a Blue 👇afl.com.au/news/1464616/s…

To the MCG, there - like a medieval pilgrim - to pay my respects to SHANE WARNE, whose relics have been assembled for a new exhibition.

Imagine being Jarryd Roughead and this butthole is telling you off pointing in your face, the only thing stopping you flattening him is your 50k assistant coach/player acquisition salary

The Prendercast II: Secret of the Blues
@cmokeeffe There's a cafe inside if someone wants a coffee... The average punter doesn't need to be catered for if they want to check out training. And nor should they expect to be.

@The_PrenderCast We are the biggest whingers in the league. If families turned up on a Sunday (as opposed to OT on a Wednesday morning) and there was no food and coffee and players didn't sign stuff, they would not hear the end of it.

@The_PrenderCast @paoloseb05 It's so that club isn't obliged to put on food/drink stands, players not obliged to sign autographs and do photos. main stand not open, less security. Basically, the gate will be open if you want to have a squiz. Kids + parents, don't expect anything extra

@paoloseb05 Gotta say I did lose my last bit of hope last week when Voss quoted Ange, saying "plan B is to do plan A better". There really is nothing left in their toolbox and that is scary. This list is withering on the vine.

Fascinating discussion on AFL360 around Carlton and the approach to 2025. Calls for change to the system are unlike to happen given what we’ve heard in Michael Voss press conferences leading in. ‘Doubling down’ has been the message. If it goes 7-7, it’s still not the mark.
