They had ideas on how to bargain with Trump, and their tone was very condescending - it had a "the hapless darkies don't know how to do diplomacy." What do they say to their raging lunatic now? Where is the space for rational dialogue here. All of Europe is looking inward and Eastward for a more rational, inclusive, and less combative geopolitical space. There is no way that @TheRealClementM 's "Face the Nation" was axed for financial reasons. He is a tough interviewer to all. And one of the few who does in-depth research. This reeks of political interference in the public broadcaster. And that is a danger to our democracy
