Today, I provided testimony at a WI DNR meeting in support of changing the name of a lake. The current name is a slur against Indigenous women. It is derogatory & dehumanizing. Sadly, there were people opposed to the name change. But great news: Squ** Lake will become Amber Lake.

I hope UnityPoint Health-Meriter Hospital recognizes that we would be in a much different place if we didn't have the dedicated nursing staff to get us through this public health crisis. That recognition should be reflected in a fair contract.

This is great to see: With 3 #COVID19 deaths reported Tuesday, #Wisconsin's daily average is 4, down from 16 a month ago and 42 two months ago. (Better would be zero, but the continuing decline is great.)
