World TB Day is commemorated every year in the month of March. The day is designed to build public awareness that tuberculosis today remains an epidemic in much of the world, causing the deaths of several million people each year, mostly in the third world.

Finally! Today the Funding Request for #HIV has been uploaded for Global Cycle 7 under GFATM. Worthy Special Secretary Mirza Nasir ud Din Mashhood Ahmad pressed the button to upload the funding request narrative.

HIV program review meeting held with National AIDS Control Programme & Coordination Management Unit for AIDS, TB & Malaria.

An awareness session on HIV was held in Fazaia Medical college on 23rd December 20222 Dr. Nabila Zaka from UNICEF gave the session on Health priorities/behavior. Dr. Saima Paracha from NACP talked about HIV in general.

A total of 124.57 million mobile users were reached through an SMS campaign on World AIDS Day 2022.

The First National consultation on HIV testing and referral services for deportee/returnee migrants at borders, Seaports and airports was conducted by National AIDS Control Programme and SPEAK Trust. Federal Sec overseas Pakistanis and national health services chaired the event.

Technical Working Group (TWG) meeting held at MoNHSRC to discuss the upcoming Global Fund proposal, NSP&PSP, and program review.
