Today, Officers Chapman and Covarrubias had the opportunity to interact with over 100 future members of the law enforcement community at the @MottCollege job fair. Thank you for inviting us!

We would like to thank the NAACP chapter for inviting us last week. Dep. Chief Morrow, Lt. VanConant and Officer Chapman presented a segment of "Know Your Rights." It was a great discussion between officers & students. We look forward to continuing this program in the future.

Congratulations to Kevin F. Dush, who began his new role as Lieutenant yesterday! Kevin has been with CMUPD since 2022 and has 20+ years in law enforcement, including supervisory roles at the Isabella County Sheriff's Office. Looking forward to the leadership Kevin will provide!

After 19 years, yesterday was Lt. Mike Sienkiewicz's (on right) last day at CMU PD. Mike has left a lasting impact, serving various roles in patrol, investigations, and administration. We're sad to see him go, but wish him the very best in his next chapter!

Congratulations to Jason Vanconant who took over his new role as Lieutenant on Monday! Jason has been with CMUPD since 2016, and has over 27 years in law enforcement. We look forward to the leadership Jason will provide to our department!
