Sacramento sports media is in a league of its own. We’ve gone from "Light the Beam" euphoria to a 14-game losing streak, and the local coverage is just radio hosts arguing with Russell Westbrook and fans rooting for losses. It’s not reporting anymore; it’s just a group therapy session that isn’t working. Being a Sacramento sports fan is hard, but listening to Sacramento sports media is the real endurance test. It’s 10% actual analysis and 90% local guys being "deeply troubled" by things they could have just googled.

What is wrong with my city? On February 6, 2013, David Stern stated the Seattle ownership group had filed with the NBA for franchise relocation from Sacramento to Seattle. That was 13 years ago. Now I’m hearing people wanting the team to lose or even leave the city @MattGeorgeSAC
