Watching the game back and there’s 100 percent something in referees head’s that is targeting Yerson Mosquera. The most nothing yellow card on Friday simply for being around and being ‘him’. He might play up a bit but that’s no excuse for unnecessarily carding him.

@molineuxmusings No where near it. Not fast enough or physical enough to play central defender. Been saying for 19 months to play him as a sweeper ala Coady role. Reads the game well, decent passing, lacks a yard, struggles physically against man on man, exactly like Coady

Say what you like about Emmanuel Agbadou, but given that every player in the squad has a price on their head ain't nobody coming in to pick up Santi Bueno. Talent-wise our best CB by a street.

Won’t see him back. Seems very odd to let him go early in the window while the likes of Bellegarde aren’t fit though.

@ConceptScouting If andre plays the "water carrier" then that could free up the RCB or LCB to step out of defence, and a CM to push up more, without having to drop a defender. I think krejci needs to play that role at LCB because he looked nowhere near his best at restricted as CB saturday

A lot of chat about individual players and #Wolves’ poor summer recruitment, most of it fair (some of it ridiculous). The issue isn’t individual players (Tchatchoua copping most of it this week), the issue is the lack of *anybody* technical in the final third to relieve the ‘poorer’ players. Arias is the closest Wolves have and he’s been out of the team largely in favour of legs (Munetsi) - Fer Lopez next down the line but physically not ready. Joao Gomes is critical due to how press resistant he is - André equally critical but a centre back needs to be dropped in order to get bodies up the pitch if Wolves have such an out-and-out 6 shielding centre backs. The two things Wolves lack is pace and creativity in the final third. This needs to be resolved immediately if Wolves are to be competitive in games.

If so then i agree, but the original comment that started this discussion was a general "worst with the ball" which is way wide of the mark with regards to andre and gomes

A lot to be admired about #Wolves without the ball. Nothing to be admired, besides Andre and Joao Gomes, with it. An absolute chasm of quality between #CPFC and Wolves - a lot of work to be done for Rob Edwards regardless of Wolves’ fate this season.

If line-ups are being leaked at this point, then its purposeful. Someone is actively trying to undermine Pereira from the inside. There’s every chance things change this morning if the club get wind of it, but clearly it’s BS that there’s no crisis internally at Wolves.
