Last week we held our final conference in Middelfart, Denmark! All project teams presented their pilot summaries, attending online and in person 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ A field trip to the heating plant at Føns and the solar PV park at Brenderup were highlights of Day 1 of the meeting #EUfunding

On September 18, the first Mārupe municipality conversation festival: “Green, Independent and Powerful” was held (in Latvia) 🌳 The event was dedicated to the development of renewable energy communities. Original blog post (in Latvian) here: rpr.gov.lv/marupe-strauji… #EUfunding

#Throwback to the latest Latvian/German pairing meeting. On Day 3, the partners visited a community-powered wind farm in Wiemersdorf 💨 (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) and had an introduction to “Bürger-Energie-Nord” which realises community energy PV projects. #EuInMyRegion

Today we had a pairing meeting between our Finnish and Estonian partners! 👋 A total of 15 people attended, with the agenda being full to the brim of inspiring #RenewableEnergy examples, with explanations on everything from available subsidies to municipal involvement #EUfunding

Day 2 of the pairing meeting last week saw our German and Latvian partners check out the best of Schleswig-Holstein’s (Germany) renewable energy projects in Sprakebüll, Flensburg, Hürup and Schleswig 🏡🚙 #CommunityEnergy #EuInMyRegion

Last week, delegates from Riga (Latvia) and Kiel (Germany) hosted a transnational pairing meeting onboard the ship Kieler Sprotte! ⛵ Information about Kiel’s Climate Protection Plan was presented by Kiel City, further information here: kiel.de/klimaschutz #MadeWithInterreg

Did you know you can use solar energy to cool your house during the summertime? 🍃☀️ During our recent pairing meetings, we have been discussing the use of heat pumps and solar energy to provide cooling services – essentially two possibilities in one device! #balticsearegion

Our Finnish and Danish partners recently hosted a great example of a hybrid meeting📽️ Green Net Finland presented on-site their Husulanmäki renewable-energy residential development, whilst Middelfart Kommune discussed their advanced Thermo-road district heating system #bsr

Last week our Lithuanian and Danish partners hosted their second online transnational pairing meeting. Discussions focused on intensifying knowledge transfer between the two partners, particularly regarding improving renewable heat production systems 💪♻️ #euinmyregion
