Just saw Marty Supreme. Not getting the hype? Was def not a bad movie. Like 6 or 7/10 good. But not the kind of shit I’m reading online like it changed lives. Chalamet is amazing no doubt. (Though I have a theory he’s not acting, and he’s just playing himself). But the rest of the movie? Mr. Wonderful was dreadful. Cringe level bad. Tyler the Creator was awesome. As was the actress who played Rachel. Gwenyth Paltrow was smoking hot. George Gervin casting was amazing. Luke Manley was great. I liked how it felt like a vintage movie so naturally, the way they shot it was awesome. The actual ping pong scenes were also great, realistic, and exciting. But seeing people say they wanted to run through walls and shit after leaving the movie had me expecting this to be way more than it was. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
