Love compression or "stress" drills. We work this same drill in press & also when teaching a ZN turn. Helps the DB eliminate panic while giving them a "feel" for how to get in-phase. Can correct a lot of bad habits w/ this drill. No arm-bar, lean into hip, find the cut-off.

@eric_crocker Exactly learning the start alone shaves time off I went from a 4.78 to a 4.58 back in the day lol

Side note: the 40 is trash. If you aren’t naturally a burner.. it’s all technique I ran a 4.71 for the Saints with no training Flew home.. worked with a speed coach for 3 days.. total of 3 hours just working the start. Eagles and Jets flew me in.. I ran a 4.53 for both lol
