As we progress toward conference play and regional rankings from the NCAA coming out, I put together my top 10 in each region and my projections for the 8 spots. This does not take into account todays games. RPI and SOS are from @laxreference.

@Collinmcballin @laxreference @D2LaxUpdates @D2_Lax_podcast @danarestia For Rockhurst to get in they would need to win the GLVC tournament. As of now I’m seeing this as a one bid league from their AQ. The south is too strong and with Newberry going 0-2 this week Lewis’ gets penalized a bit. If they were the north, it’d be different

my weekly D2 Rankings. Who watches the games? Rankings are just box scores and program names they recognize it seems. How is a 9-2 Colorado Mesa with two top 20 losses on the outside of polls. How is Wingate only penalized one spot when losing? Is H2H and common opponents valued?

@ZakWolf22 @College_Crosse Has the weather been that bad that all the grass fields Syracuse University owns or using a local high school was out of the question? Maybe getting down to NC a day sooner? Love the 🍊 but always excuses. Too much defense and bad O sets with no adjustments cost us.

6 Newberry leads 12 Anderson 7-6 at the half. Anderson jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Newberry had a 6-1 run. Anderson cuts it to 1 with a last minute goal from Cole Spark. Huge second half upcoming with SAC playoff seeding implications

my 3/23 Weekly Rankings for D2 has my top 4 expanded to top 5 to win it all? Wingate is starting to peak it seems heading into April. Pace a nice win over Seton Hill. Still think its Adelphi and St. A's in the north then everyone else. Is Rollins resurging?

@LacrosseNetwork Yes, they are. It seems some who have votes in all the polls don’t consume the games/film they need to and just check box scores. A box score is a great foundation but doesn’t show you everything that happened. Just my 2 cents though. I especially see this in D2.

@College_Crosse They have been relying on their defense too much this season and they were due for a breakdown. PSU has too much firepower and OSU doesn’t have the guys to keep up. I was surprised Fyock wasn’t pulled at half

Throw in another 14% off. efficiency, 21% shooting percentage, 36% turnover rate day for the Ohio State offense today
This just isn't an acceptable output for a Big Ten team, let alone one with Final Four aspirations. The fact they were 3-1 during this stretch was a blessing

@D2LaxUpdates Interesting how much a discrepancy there is between this and the US Lacrosse Magazine poll. I think it’s head scratching Frostburg isn’t in the top 20. Tampa still getting a first place vote is also interesting. I know coaches help formulate this but think they just look a W/L.
