@goatmann007 @AmericasComic That definitely makes him more self aware than Stringer, that’s for sure. Just not sure we ever saw evidence of Avon being smart. Yes, he wore the crown, but as we learn, whoever wears it only wears it for a short time.

@awfulannouncing Mike Ryan is the epidomy of the modern day liberal: I’m right, you’re wrong. Your opinion only matters if you agree with me. If not you are (insert insult). Dude has severe TDS and can’t help himself

@KingGeneT_ @JReidESPN Elite defenses and top tier offensive lines??? You clearly haven’t watched the Ravens the last two seasons. Allen is awesome, Lamar is awesome. The Bills are a really good team year in year out, and so are the Ravens. The issue is the way each QB is “graded” by the national media

I will gladly give a rebuttal to this because I believe context matters. The problem with this critique is that it collapses years of context into a single moment and pretends everything Josh Allen has had in Buffalo existed simultaneously. It didn’t. Allen has never played with all of these things at once: an elite defense, an elite offensive line, a top-tier run game, and high-end receiving depth. Those units have peaked in different seasons, often with one compensating for another’s collapse. That’s not the same as being surrounded by a consistently elite roster. Stefon Diggs was a top-7 receiver at his peak but Buffalo has rarely had a second reliable pass catcher. The offensive line has oscillated between average and good, not dominant, and the run game has only recently become functional. The defense has been top-10 on paper, but in the postseason it has repeatedly been injured, compromised, or outright overwhelmed (13 seconds, anyone?). Framing this as Allen operating inside a stable, balanced ecosystem is revisionist. By contrast, the Ravens have consistently fielded deeper, more structurally sound rosters during Allen’s tenure. Lamar has played with elite defenses almost every year, top-tier offensive lines, and the league’s best rushing infrastructure regardless of who the running back was. Baltimore’s system has always reduced variance for its quarterback. Buffalo’s has embraced it. That’s the key distinction. Josh Allen is asked to create offense, not just run it. His turnovers are the byproduct of being the release valve for every offensive deficiency. When things break down in Buffalo, the answer is “Josh, fix it.” When things break down in Baltimore, the answer is usually schematic, philosophical, or situational. And yes Allen had a brutal game. Four turnovers is unacceptable. But pretending this is some pattern of media protection ignores reality. Allen is criticized constantly for recklessness; it’s literally the defining knock on his career. The difference is that Buffalo’s postseason competitiveness often exists because of Allen’s ceiling, not in spite of it. If Lamar had four turnovers in a playoff loss, the conversation wouldn’t be “move on” because he’s a fraud it would be about whether Baltimore’s offense can function when forced outside its identity. That’s the same grace Allen deserves when Buffalo’s margin for error is razor-thin and he’s asked to be the solution to everything. This isn’t about excuses. It’s about context. Josh Allen hasn’t failed because he’s been propped up by a great roster. He’s fallen short because Buffalo’s championship formula has required him to be extraordinary every year while Baltimore’s has been built to make that unnecessary. That difference matters.

@jeffzrebiec @jeffzrebiec hypothetically, if a player has sustained a career ending injury, are there contractual reasons why it would be kept a secret? Why not just announce it and move forward (for both parties)?

I will never understand the obsession with Scott Hanson as RedZone host. He is truly the worst. Constantly stuttering and can’t even name half the players on the field

You’re walking through a hallway that has 3 doors that are evenly spaced apart from each other. There is a person walking in front of you that holds the door for you every time. How many times is it appropriate to say thank you for holding the door? 1? 3? None?

@tylerbarberis_ While I understand your feelings, my argument would be, who is clearly better than them in the AL? Every team has flaws. I don’t see why they can’t compete, and I think they have as good a chance as anyone to come out of the AL.

I’m not gonna lie, I am not ecstatic about the Orioles this season. The pitching got deeper, but worse (talent wise). You’re banking on breakout years from Povich, Sugano and Kremer. The bats are going to have to CARRY the team for a majority of the season — up until when Rodriguez and Bradish return (hopefully). It’ll be a long year, buckle up and go O’s.

@Ziggys_Duck Just finished my who know’s how many re-watch. In your opinion, who is the most important character of the series, from beginning of season 1 to end of season 5? Not your favorite, but which character embodies the overall message of the creators the most?

@JonnyVegass @waalk9 You have to view all five seasons in totality. If you don’t understand the importance (and brilliance) of the intricate storyline of season 2 and how it connects to everything else, then you you won’t get the point of the show and what it is meant to represent.
