@showbizkid12 @UConnWBB That’s hysterical. Tell me you know nothing about women’s college basketball without saying it
English

@UConnWBB Man his head was in the guillotine and the blade was coming down. Major damage control. I still say he's fired before next season.

@LiliSophia @DavidBearman Again. Talking about wbb and not the men’s game. Not a gender thing.
English

@DavidBearman Because "ladies" should not talk to referees like men? Wow! Let's watch the Men's game tonight and see if it's all 🌹 s

People have asked me how could I defend Geno.
Let me be clear. At no point did I defend his actions Friday night. It was childish and a low moment. That said, I have defended the assassination of his character and all the pedestal everyone is putting Staley on.
What Geno did was wrong, and he knows it, Dawn isn't innocent. She took the bait and threated him in front of the world. She also acts like a child, what Geno was accused of, every single game on the sideline. We saw it in last year's championship game and we see it in every game, the way she berates the refs and throws herself around. Geno called her out on it in the 3rd quarter.
And before people play the race or sexist card on me, like you all did Friday night, I've said the same thing about Kim Mulkey, Dan Hurley, and even my own coach, Todd Golden. I had 4th row seats to see Hurley and Golden act like idiots to the refs at MSG earlier this year.
All great coaches, but they need to be role models as well. Stop acting like crazies on the sideline. Say what you want about Geno the other night, but he doesn't act like that during the games. He is the reason Women's hoops are where they are and why we are even talking about it.
Friday was NOT about race or gender. It was two fierce competitors who let it get out of hand. No one likes losing at that level. And it's over with. Move on.

@CollegeHoopsTIk @SethDavisHoops For some reason, there are simply different rules for Hurley versus most other coaches. He has shown that he has no self control over the faces and gestures he makes during a game.
English

lol these replies. This is literally seconds after Mullins' shot went in. You really think Hurley is taunting this ref?
Seth Davis@SethDavisHoops
Just for context ... the referee is Roger Ayers, who has worked multiple Final Fours. Known for his toughness and also sense of humor. This struck me as Hurley messing with a buddy more than intimidating a ref. This is after Mullins' shot, so Hurley was obviously not mad at the refs.
English

@YOURKINGS @rheidrick24 @AyersRefTracker Duke was called for 5 phantom fouls before the first tv timeout in the second half. Cry baby Hurley got his feelings hurt. Duke still should have won but the refs gave UConn every single call. Boozer got elbowed in the face in the first half and there wasn’t even a foul called.
English

Hurley can’t even congratulate the ref on reffing one hell of a game without people making up crazy accusations??!!!! #UConn !!!!!

Yet again, the New York Comic Book out with misleading information ...
Here's the truth that the Trump administration doesn't want Americans to know: Oil from the Sable Offshore pipeline would be a drop in the bucket — 0.05% of total oil production — that would have no impact on lowering global oil prices. In fact, prices at the pump are up at least 20 cents since pumping began again, while Sable’s stock has gone up through the roof.
FACT: Oil trades at a worldwide price, American crude sells to the highest bidder, not at a discount for American consumers.
The only way we will see widespread lowering of gas prices: Trump ends his war with Iran, which closed the straight of Hormuz in the first place! It’s time for the Trump Administration’s scam on the American people comes to an end.
Don’t just take it from us, here’s Big Oil saying it too: “The truth of the matter is there’s no replacement for the strait. That is the critical piece that has to be done and done quickly.” — American Petroleum Institute CEO Mike Sommers
