I’ve been thinking a lot about why building a startup feels so damn hard. Not because the idea is bad. Not because people aren’t capable. But because most of us are building completely alone. As a former athlete and coach, that hit me recently: Athletes NEVER train alone. They have coaches, teammates, drills, seasons, scoreboards, accountability. Founders? We even coined the word "solopreneur" and wear it like a badge of honour! We sit behind a laptop hoping “motivation” shows up. This need to be fixed. So I created something new → r/BuildLikeAthletes A FREE space for founders who want to grow in business like athletes grow in their sport: 🏋️ daily reps 🎯 clear structure 🏃‍♂️ sprints 🏆 bootcamps + leagues 🤝 team accountability 📈 real progress — not just ideas I'm starting from zero. Literally zero. But I’m committed to showing up every single day and building this community brick by brick. Should I mention again it's FREE? No catch, just a mission. If you’re tired of building alone — come be one of the early ones. We build differently here. r/BuildLikeAthletes - startupathletes.web.app reddit.com/r/BuildLikeAth… Let’s train like athletes. Let’s build with discipline. Let’s get better together.

This is Day 14 — the end of the Warm-Up. Before anything else, I want to say this clearly: You don’t need to have “completed” anything for this to count. Athletes don’t judge a training block by perfect execution. They judge it by what they learned about themselves. So here’s the final rep — and it’s a quiet one: 👉 Answer one of these (your choice): • One thing you understand better about yourself now • One habit or approach that felt right • One thing you’re glad you stopped forcing • Or simply: “I showed up, even imperfectly” There’s no follow-up task. No continuation required. No obligation to do more. Take what works. Leave what doesn’t. If you want to share one line below, I’ll respond. If not, that’s okay too. Thanks for showing up — in whatever way you did.

Welcome to Day 13. As a coach, this is where I stop asking people to add anything new and ask a simpler question: What’s actually working for you? Not what should work. Not what sounds impressive. What you could realistically keep doing. So here’s today’s rep: 👉 Name ONE thing from this Sprint that you want to keep after it ends. It could be: -a short daily rep -focusing on one thing at a time -stopping before exhaustion -checking in with yourself -letting go of perfect streaks Just one thing. If you want, share it below 👇 I’ll reply to every comment.

Welcome to Day 12. As a coach, this is the point where I stop telling people what to do and ask them to choose how to show up. Not every day needs the same energy. So here’s today’s rep: 👉 Which mode fits you best today? Choose one. • Push — do a focused action • Maintain — repeat something small • Reflect — think, write, or notice No mode is better than the others. What matters is choosing deliberately instead of drifting. If you want, comment with: - the mode you chose - one short line about what that looked like I’ll reply to every comment.

Welcome to Day 11. Up to now, we’ve focused on: showing up keeping things small repeating what works Today is a gentle stretch — not intensity. As a coach, this is where I ask people to stay a little longer, but stop before it feels heavy. Here’s today’s rep: 👉 Set a 15-minute timer and continue ONE thing you’ve already been doing this Sprint. Not something new. Not something bigger. Just the same direction, slightly longer. When the timer ends, stop. Then answer this: What did staying a bit longer help you notice? It could be: deeper focus clearer thinking resistance showing up or “honestly, nothing special” All answers are valid. Share one line below 👇 I’ll reply to every comment.

Welcome to Day 10. This is usually where people start questioning themselves: “Am I doing enough?” “Is this actually working?” “Should I be further along?” As a coach, this is the moment I slow things down. Progress doesn’t always show up as results. Often, it shows up as less friction. So here’s today’s rep: 👉 What’s one thing that feels slightly easier or clearer than it did before this Sprint? It could be: -starting without resistance -staying with one thing longer -catching distractions sooner -feeling calmer about doing less -trusting small reps If nothing feels different yet, that’s okay — you can say that too. If you want, share one thing below 👇 I’ll reply to every comment.

Welcome to Day 9. Mid-week is where focus usually leaks — not because of laziness, but because too many things ask for attention at once. Athletes protect energy by deciding in advance where it goes. So here’s today’s rep: 👉 What’s the ONE thing that deserves your focus for the next 48 hours? Not the whole week. Not everything. Just the next two days. It could be: -continuing the same small action -finishing one loose end -staying with one direction -resisting the urge to change plans If you want, share it below 👇 I’ll reply to every comment.

Welcome to Day 8. New week. Same rules as before: low pressure, honest reps. If the weekend felt productive — great. If it didn’t — also fine. As a coach, I don’t treat Mondays as restarts. I treat them as re-entries. So here’s today’s rep: 👉 What’s one thing you want to give slightly more attention to this week? Not a goal. Not a commitment. Just an intention. Examples: - staying focused on one thing - avoiding unnecessary tweaks - protecting short daily reps - noticing when you overthink If you want, share it below 👇 I’ll reply to every comment.

Welcome to Day 7. This is the point where many people start asking themselves: “Did I do enough this week?” As a coach, here’s the answer: If you showed up at least once, you’re still in. Athletes don’t measure a training block by perfect attendance. They measure it by whether they stayed connected. Especially when they do not feel like it. So today’s rep is simple: 👉 What’s one thing you’re taking with you from this week? It could be: - an insight - a feeling - a habit - a realization - or even “I noticed when I avoided things” No summary needed. No lessons required. Just one thing. If you want, share it below 👇 I’ll respond to every comment.

Welcome to Day 6. By now, something usually starts to shift — not always in results, but in how things feel. As a coach, this is the moment I slow people down and ask them to notice. So here’s today’s rep: 👉 What feels slightly different compared to a week ago? It could be: - more clarity - less resistance - noticing avoidance sooner - feeling calmer about not doing everything - or honestly… nothing yet All answers are valid. This isn’t a performance check. It’s an awareness check. If you want, share one thing you’ve noticed below 👇 I’ll reply to every comment.

Welcome to Day 5. By now, it’s tempting to: add more go faster “make up for lost time” That’s not how momentum is built. Athletes don’t improve by changing everything. They improve by repeating what works. So here’s today’s rep: 👉 Repeat ONE thing you did earlier this week. Not better. Not bigger. Just again. It could be: another 10-minute action rereading what you wrote sending one more message continuing yesterday’s tiny task Then answer this: What did you repeat — and did it feel easier than the first time? Short answers are perfect. I’ll reply to every comment.

@KintuLabs why would you put everything into quantity and not quality? yes we all need to deal with failures and learn from that but really just focusing on volume will make you miss so many opportunities that need time and focus to build and grow.

Welcome to Day 4. The first three days were about: 1. showing up 2. noticing direction 3. removing noise Today, we add one tiny action. Not to make progress. Not to be productive. Just to remind yourself that movement is possible. Here’s today’s rep: 👉 Take 10 minutes (or less) and do ONE small action related to what you’re building. Examples: -write one rough sentence -send one message -clean one small thing -outline one idea -fix one tiny issue Stop when the timer ends. Even if you feel like you could do more. Then answer this in the comments: What did you do — and how did it feel? Short answers are perfect. I’ll reply to every comment.

Welcome to Day 3. So far, we’ve focused on: Day 1 → showing up Day 2 → noticing direction Today, we add one small but powerful move: removal. Athletes don’t improve by adding everything. They improve by temporarily ignoring what doesn’t matter right now. So here’s today’s rep: 👉 What’s one thing you will intentionally ignore for the rest of this week? It could be: a feature a side idea a platform a comparison a task that creates noise This isn’t forever. It’s just a short constraint to protect focus. Drop your one thing below 👇 I’ll reply to every comment.
