Don't buy this. Yelich, Frelick, Turang, Mitchell, Vaughn, DL Hall all 1st rounders. Chourio, Miz, Sproat, Harrison, Ortiz, Bauers former top-100 prospects. Contreras, Megill, Sanchez (among others) have been all-stars. Brewers have good players. Leave it at that.

Based on the rumored international game schedule, it is unlikely the Bears will play an international game in 2026. But it is possible. Bears aren’t among teams with a rumored home international game. And only the Falcons and Lions are on the Bears away game schedule & are rumored to be hosting an international “home” game. Division rival games are generally avoided for international matchups, so that rules out the Lions “home” game rumored in Munich The only possibility would be if the Bears played in Madrid: TBD-ATL (w9) Sun Nov 8 9:30. Falcons home games are with TB, CAR, NO, CHI, DET, BAL, CIN, SF and KC. The first three opponents are ruled out for an international matchup because they are in ATL division. SF & DET can also be crossed off as they are rumored to be hosting another international game. So Bears have a 25% chance of being the Falcons opponent in the Madrid game. Will be either CHI, BAL, CIN or KC. KC is the only one of the 4 teams who played an international game last year, but that doesn’t automatically exclude them. NFL teams do play back to back years with international games sometimes. I could see a scenario with the Bears popularity coming off an exciting 2025 season that the NFL would want to give them international exposure. However, a healthy Lamar, Burrow or Mahomes (he should be back by W9) would also draw eyeballs. So give it a 1 in 4 chance the Bears play the Falcons in Madrid.

I think it’s an excellent and difficult challenge. Incredibly hard to play in SEA even if they aren’t coming off a SB. Loudest 12th man. Good news is they will be well rested. Bad news is you have zero time to ease into the season and need to be razor sharp from the first snap. All eyes in prime time on you vs. best in NFL in 2025 That’s also good news too. Will be a galvanizing focus for camp & preseason. And a good yardstick for them to measure against Week 1. Bears have a fighting chance a lot more than if this were Y1 in Ben & DA’s scheme, 2025 if that was the first game no chance. Also think they will fare better than NE did on offense in SB. Wish we had a better pash rush though. Also hope Jaylon Johnson & Kyler Gordon bounce back to pre-injury form. JSN is a nightmare to cover & they move him all around the field.
