The Lady Eagles are your Foothills 2A Conference Champions!! Riley Huffman scored a pair of penalty kick goals in the 2-1 OT victory over Forbush. The Lady Eagles have now won EIGHT straight conference titles. Congrats ladies and good luck in the playoffs next week!

Eagle Wrestling concluded the regular season with a 2nd place finish at the Foothills 2A Conference Tournament! MaCailie Coates, Elijah Hendren and Connor Ridgell were all tournament champions in their respective classes and Connor was also named tournament MOW. Regionals next up

Eagle Wrestling went 1-1 last night in their final tri match of the regular season defeating North Iredell and falling to Statesville. Next up for the Eagles will be the Foothills 2A Conference Tournament this Saturday here at Wilkes Central.

Eagle Wrestling finished 3rd overall yesterday in the inaugural Eagle Invitational with 5 podium finishes including 4 wrestlers 1st in their class! Wilkes Central will be hosting the Foothills 2A Tournament this coming Saturday, January 25. More details coming this week.

Eagle Wrestling picked up a big conference win tonight in a closely contested match with North Wilkes! The Eagles improve to 2-2 in the Foothills 2A and still have a shot at the team conference title heading into the final weeks of the regular season.

Eagle Wrestling brought home the hardware yesterday at the Jeff Peal Memorial Tournament at North Wilkes! The Eagles had 10 wrestlers finish on the podium, including 5 individual 1st place finishes. Elijah Hendren was voted Most Outstanding Wrestler and earned his 100th HS win.

Congrats to the Eagle Wrestling and Boys Basketball teams on their respective victories last night! Eagle Wrestling improved to 11-4, the Varsity Eagles to 4-1 and the JV Eagles to 3-2.
