Sometimes you don’t need the whole plan… you just need to go. TEN YEARS ago, I packed everything I owned in a U-Haul and drove to Georgia to be a volly at Georgia Gwinnett. I didn’t have a roadmap—just a calling to coach and enough faith to take the first step. Today, I’m still here. Out of college baseball, running showcase events across the country, married, and raising two amazing kids. God’s plan was far bigger than mine. I thought I was just coming to coach baseball… He was building my future.

He owns a 577-372-2 (.607) record, has led FAU to six NCAA Tournament appearances, and has helped more than 100 players reach professional baseball. A respected leader, McCormack was inducted into the FAU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019 and currently serves as ABCA First Vice President.

We are saddened by the passing of former All-Star and World Series champion Chet Lemon. A first-round pick by the A’s in the 1972 MLB Draft, Lemon made his Major League debut as a 20-year-old with the White Sox in 1975. He went on to play 16 seasons with the White Sox and Tigers. A supreme defender, Lemon was a 3-time All-Star and set a record for center fielders in 1977 with 509 putouts, a mark which stood for over 30 years. Lemon played his last 9 seasons with the Tigers, helping them to the Postseason twice. He was a key member of Detroit’s 1984 World Series championship team. He was 70 years old.

Obviously a great throw by Tatis. A couple takeaways other than the throw. 1) On a throw from RF the catcher’s initial set up is in foul territory. That gives him a chance to move to HP to make the catch & tag. It also increase his chances/range on throws on the foul side of HP.

Armando Guirola is a talented sophomore OF at College of Central Florida. He got all of this one to tie their game vs Lake-Sumer today for his 2nd HR of the season. Came into the game slashing 294/417/397. @Armando_Guirola
