When it comes to conference awards, I wish efficiency and winning were valued as much as raw scoring, though he delivered there too. Atlantic East Champion @Jayson_Lovee for @NeumannMBB this season: • 14.6 PPG • 4.8 RPG • 1.8 APG 49% FG 43% from 3 (4.9 attempts per game)

True 6’6, lives in the gym, provides raw athleticism and rim protection. Didn’t coach him but he definitely fills a handful of gaps for a lot of teams

- Dropped out of high school - 14 DNPs junior year of hs - All-Public senior year - 50/40/85 as a freshman in JUCO - 19/5/3 sophomore year JUCO, all region And now committed to a truly elite and historic program. So many unseen hours. Such an amazing story.

Day by day. Brick by brick. Down over 140lbs. And not going back.

Dropped out of high school. Came back, tried out for his HS team his junior year & made it— didn’t touch the floor. Killed in AAU, came back & was all-public as a senior. Went JUCO, didn’t play at first. Didnt transfer. Stayed 2 years & became 1st team All Region.

Hopefully this will eliminate the ridiculously expensive prep school route for players who inevitably end up going JUCO anyway

All you guys that run these tournaments \ events…let’s help curtail selfish play by recognizing top rebounders, top assist person, notable defenders. We can’t act like these stats don’t matter. Kids can’t feel like they only matter if they score a lot of points.
