players & coaches shaved their heads when I lost my hair
friends traveled 3,000+ miles to be here for treatments
I felt well enough to go to a few football camps before surgery, and to get home afterward to see my parents before fall camp

I was struggling - my dad broke his leg - revealing an incurable blood cancer
I didn’t expect to wear it to my own chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer
