Vermont States Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletics Director, Alfred Johnson. Alfred was an exceptional mentor, friend, and coach who inspired his players and staff alike with his dedication. Director of Athletics, Greg Eckman, said, 'Alfred was way more than a basketball coach; he was a husband, a friend, a mentor, and an incredible Assistant Athletic Director. His dedication to his coaching staff and his players is something we can all be inspired by.' Having known Alfred since his high school coaching days in the early 90s, I valued him as a friend and mentor. He offered valuable advice and support throughout my career.
