Was emailing a Toyota salesman and said I want Limited trim because it’s the only one with 360 camera. He replied XLE Premium does too. I showed him the screenshot of Toyota website saying it doesn’t and he emailed again saying it does! Dude doesn’t even know his own product.

@coaster_nate The original design of TT is identical to Anaconda. It fits Dollywoods terrain perfectly and would have fit around Thunder Express without any modifications. I suspect that TT was in the works for a while before construction and KD picked it up when they didn’t pull the trigger

Not sure why, but I’ve been thinking a lot about Tennessee Tornado lately after riding it last month and looking through my photos. The last Arrow looper, built during a time where B&M was HOT and the coaster wars were in full swing.

The shaping of the elements is so interesting - smooth but also quirky. It really makes me wonder what Arrow would’ve done with any potential future loopers if X2 hadn’t bankrupt them.

I wonder if Dollywood opted for Arrow because B&M’s schedule was packed full? Such an interesting choice to build a classic looper model that had been around for over 20 years at that point when so many new looper options presented themselves throughout the 90s.

@coaster_nate I honestly think the look of it is a big reason for the hate. Just didn’t have the same sort of visual awe as Ka and Top Thrill. Very curious about the ride experience though since I feel like it could either be spectacular or just nauseating.

Exactly! Only in 2026 would an upside-down spinning launch not be good enough. The only argument I somewhat understand is the capacity, but with a switch track and 2 trains, hopefully it’s not terrible.

anyone who is complaining about Phantom Spire/Spinda Ka should take a step back and realize that the concept of a Mack spinner going 110+ mph atop a tower, going back down, and going through a huge zero g stall is absolutely batshit crazy.

They literally could’ve replaced this with a family coaster. Given the economy and the state of the regional amusement industry… I am THRILLED they are adding something like this.

I loved Kingda Ka (and even loved it before its removal and everybody jumped on the bandwagon), but I do not understand the hate for this new ride. The tower coaster is totally awesome and unique. And this clearly will have a transfer track to run 2 trains. What’s not to like?

It’s funny how the track profiling on Barracuda Strike is almost as if B&M is trying to mimic an Arrow suspended coaster swinging back and forth - including that funny first drop banking. Hoping it’s at least not a rattly mess 🤣
