Seeing that @KingsDominionVA held a focus group this past week gives me hope they are listening and will right some of the wrongs of the past couple of years. Also, seeing Scott Clemons was a part of the meeting is a huge plus. I have nothing but a ton of respect for him!

Scott was a huge reason of how I was able to do some contract work for KD from 2017-2022. Great at marketing, but more importantly, he cared about the people. I learned a lot from him, and he is one of the most genuinely caring people you will ever meet.

@DonHelbig It's been like this for at least a year. I tagged the park in a post about it when I was getting the emails last year, and crickets. I miss the KD marketing crew from when I did contract work from 2017-2022. Do they even have a marketing department now? Doesn't seem like it.

@CPFoodBlog Live entertainment cuts. My visits drastically declined to KD this year due to the entertainment cuts and F&B quality going down and not having eateries open. Seasonal events have not delivered this year. nothing announced for 2024. I am not renewing passes & meal plans for '24.

As the season approaches the end for many of our Cedar Fair parks, what were your biggest disappointments this season? Some of ours: 1) Live entertainment budget cuts including major park celebrations 2) no CP beach party

I had way more fun at BGW, and actually considering getting a membership again, even though I literally drive past KD and have to drive another hour (assuming traffic is good) to get there. BGW has stepped it up since I was there last in 2021.

More than likely not renewing my KD pass next year for the first time in forever. The "magic" has been gone since Haunt last year. Entertainment cuts have taken a toll. I've only gone twice this year and left within an hour.

Had a great day at @BuschGardensVA after not visiting since 2021! We didn't ride anything this time, but we really appreciated being able to watch three shows in AC. Already looking forward to visiting again this fall!

Anyway, go see some fireworks and have fun.

This was a fun photoshoot back when I did contract photography for the park. There were a bunch of fun photoshoots I got to be a part of. 2019 stands out as the most fun. We did some amazing stuff leading up Grand Carnivale, Haunt (my fav!) & WF/NYE promo. Those were the days...

Thank you to @dulles_airport for the AVGeek tour today! This was my first time doing anything like it, and I can't wait to do some more in the future! The highlight of today's tour was getting to see an Emirates Airbus A380 take off, followed by an Air India flight.
