Since I'm not streaming, I'm going to post daily updates and possibly some screenshots of progress I've made that day. Dock delivery is expected to arrive at the start of next week so stream won't be back until then.
Here's a quick update of what I've been working on the past couple days:
"OpenStudio" - a screen studio alternative, native macOS (looks like its built into mac), performance friendly, beautiful, open source. Part of the Rune toolkit.
And yes, I said my priority was the Hugr app and I'm working on that at the same time. Wouldn't be possible without Opus :) Also quick thanks to everyone that's stuck around and supported, I see you and won't forget.
Dropping a screen studio alternative soon. Open source. Fully native macOS.
I can't justify paying for a tool that your grandma could vibe code. There are other solutions but they're either paid or horrible to use (yes I'm talking about you "recordly")
What's next? Why? And what does it solve?
Hugr web app - AI workflow automation targeting non-native ai/technical businesses, content creators or regular people with personal goals/reasons
I'm sure a lot of you reading this have heard about what jobs AI will eliminate first: PA's, office, accounting, engineers, editors etc but have you ever thought about who or what specifically will achieve this?
Why would non-native ai/technical business use it:
A construction company outsources finance management, planning or anything that isn't automated by ai but should be. why don't they? It's not easily accessible, they don't understand or trust it. solution: fast, simple, tailored visuals/outcomes, pay-per usage, billed monthly.
Why would regular people use it:
A content creator relies on editors, data management, accountants, managers etc. a lot of creators have started to merge into ai thumbnails, automated shorts creators and maybe even editors but it all requires manual input and management across many different services. hugr won't have video editor agents or thumbnail creators but it will outsourced with plugins to specific sites which will allow users to setup agent workflows to manage and implement everything.
Sample content creator workflow for a youtube video:
- user uploads video and states what they want
↓
-thinker (thinks about what the user wants, notes everything down)
↓
- manager (directs everything in between)
↓
- editor (uses an external provider)
↓
- manager
↓
- thumbnail creator (uses an external provider)
↓
- manager
↓
- review
↓
- uploader
Outcome? fully automated youtube video, edited and published.
Now, you're probably wondering how this solves the "for non-native ai/technical" part: users don't need to see these workflows (they can but it won't be in their face). imagine a simple dashboard, with A LOT of templates, plugins and a personal agent that handles all of the workflow creation and management process.
I'm just touching the surface. This will be where 85% of my focus will be over the next month (you will see this all on pumpfun live). There will be small updates made to the coding app and framework but no huge changes or new features.

@will8bit This is spot on—flat memory feels solved but the lack of real relational understanding kills long projects. Circuits sounds like the missing piece. Excited to see it ship this month! 🚀
