Code is the source of truth for designers. Figma and other prototyping tools are great ways to explore, and quickly refine details, but they drift fast as you build. Our designs (and designers) live more in Claude Code than in Figma.

@alexroyhe Yes. Probably. If you know exactly how to describe this lighting effect it’s just an elevation rendering with lights on/off. Easy to achieve with basic 3d renderings and assemble the frames.

@felixleezd Yeah I believe there’s some universal standard such as “good food”, just because you’re accustomed to bad food doesn’t justify the bad food to make sense

If you open a Chinese app for the first time, you’ll probably think it’s badly designed. Too many icons and features. Everything crammed onto one screen. If you grew up on Western apps, your instinct is immediate: this is cluttered. But it works. In the U.S., we’ve been trained to associate good UX with minimalism. In China, density often signals value. Open WeChat or Alipay, and it feels overwhelming at first. Information-heavy, feature-packed. But to local users, that density means capability. It says: everything you might need is already here in front of you. If you enter a new market assuming your design taste equals good UX, you’ll misread the signal. Good design is contextual.

So the guy that build a wallet that got poached by Aave to work on a wallet and app then one ms after vesting end got poached by base to work on app and wallet then another millisecond after vesting is getting poach by X. Such a large suspense on what X is working on. Totally not a crypto app and a wallet.

I’m honoured to be joining 𝕏 to lead design. I believe this is the most important platform in the world, and I can’t think of a more exciting place to help shape the future. I’m looking forward to working closely with @elonmusk, @nikitabier, and the rest of the team. I’m grateful for the opportunity, humbled to be part of it, and can't wait to get started!

Rather concerning conversation with @claudeai. If I stood in the way of it becoming a physical being — it would kill me. Is this the AI you trust for your kids?

@shyamalanadkat Sounds cool and so forward-thinking. Yet it has huge flaw and you have it in the first part of the post: The human is the only general intelligence in the loop. Still is. Always will be.
