When markets or individual stocks are below a declining 5 day SMA, the odds are against reversal. It is better to wait for the 5 to flatten/begin to rise before purchasing.
You WILL NOT buy the low, but you will also not buy several times before a low is revealed, saving mental and actual capital.

$AAPL Conference Call Summary: You know, we don’t listen to all the noise out there. That would be deafening (plug our AirPods here). So unless there is something biblical or a financial crisis, we are just over here making better products and driving demand. That’s because we are more focused on being the best. Of course, we aren’t going to have the big growth of a smaller company, but we had a September-quarter record for revenue, and we grew basically everywhere around the world. This is all before we launched AI this week, which appears to be gaining excitement because OS 18.1 was adopted twice as fast as 17.1. We announced new Macs this week, which will really bring AI to the PC market. Services also hit an all-time high, our paid subscriptions hit an all-time high, and we have a record-high installed base. Even Apple Vision Pro is getting adopted by hospitals for surgical testing. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited about Apple Intelligence and the health features we are bringing, because we are driving demand. We definitely have the strongest lineup we’ve ever had going into the holiday season. Therefore, we are still going to see steady growth in the coming quarter, even though we’ve been a little constrained with the iPhone Pro and Pro Max in October, regardless of whatever noise you are hearing out there.
