@FNCreate Discover should not be a one size fits all experience. I dislike how every niche is just funneled into one of few vague categories that do not fit every map. There are a wide range of players with interests in unique genres but they are not visible in discover if not the top map.

It’s true! And it’s normal software development. We prioritize reported bugs. We fix them in priority order. At the bottom are low-priority, low-impact bugs. We find the cutoff point where fixing those bugs is less valuable to the game than other things, and we drop them.

@iiiSAndman I agree, some slow paced maps don’t need each player to be on zero ping. Mixing different regions is better than having empty lobbies. With public ccu it’s confusing for a player seeing nobody, just because everyone is on NA East instead of NA Central. This should be a setting.

Idk if I'm being a bot cus I've not messed with the MM island settings since they came out...But, I'd love to be able to just send players to any active public lobby regardless of which region they're on. Every time I have a map with like 5+ players I'm desperately trying to get in the same lobby as them by changing regions manually but a regular player isn't going to do this, they'd just give up as the maps dead #uefn #fortnitecreative

Map creators are calling out Epic favoritism after Ali-A launches a new #Fortnite map 🤔 Shortly after the popular content creator released "SUPER 1V1 FFA", it was pushed to the forefront of Fortnite's Discover screen - a privilege that most developers need to pay thousands of dollars in advertising fees for. And despite the fact that map creators are explicitly forbidden from advertising Support-A-Creators code in-game, another user noticed that Ali-A, SypherPK, and Nick Eh 30 do exactly that on their creator pages. "SUPER 1V1 FFA" reached a concurrent player count of over 19,313 players yesterday, at least partially thanks to Epic's support. That said, it is worth noting that Ali-A also advertised his map on his social media pages, and is also running an event where players can win a million V-Bucks, which was also a likely contributor.
