In this issue, we introduce the "Cybersecurity Award 2026," in which Kana Shinoda, the founder of this conference and head of secretariat operations, participated as a member of the judging committee. This award is hosted by the Digital Policy Forum. It is an initiative that selects and honors outstanding books, websites, fictional works, and other content that communicate knowledge and analysis related to cybersecurity and privacy in an easy-to-understand manner for the general public. The aim is to create an environment in which people consider cybersecurity more closely, and to contribute to the improvement of cybersecurity literacy in Japan and the activation of innovation. Content submissions were widely solicited during the period from October 1, 2025 to November 30, 2025. Following the screening process based on submitted applications, a rigorous review was conducted by the judging committee. The evaluation was conducted comprehensively based on criteria such as "clarity," "originality," and "impact," and the results were announced at the awards ceremony held on March 16, 2026. A list of all 12 award-winning works, including "NHK Special 'Manufactured Truth': The Age of Deepfakes," which won the Grand Prize, as well as all 19 nominated works, can be found on the official website of the "Cybersecurity Award." csa.digitalpolicyforum.jp

当カンファレンスの発起人であり事務局運営を担う篠田佳奈が、審査委員として携わった「サイバーセキュリティアワード2026」についてご紹介します。 本アワードは、デジタル政策フォーラムが主催しています。サイバーセキュリティやプライバシーに関する知識・分析などを、一般の人にもわかりやすく伝えた書籍、Web、フィクション作品などのうち、優秀なものを選定・表彰する取り組みです。サイバーセキュリティをより身近に考える環境を整備し、日本におけるサイバーセキュリティ・リテラシーの向上と、イノベーションの活性化に寄与することを目的としています。 2025年10月1日〜11月30日の期間で広くコンテンツが募集されました。その後、応募書類による選考を経て、審査委員会による厳正な審査が実施されました。審査では「分かりやすさ」「独創性」「インパクト」といった基準から総合的に評価が行われ、2026年3月16日の表彰式にて結果が発表されました。 大賞を受賞した「NHKスペシャル 創られた“真実” ディープフェイクの時代」をはじめとする全12の受賞作品、およびノミネートされた全19作品の一覧は、「サイバーセキュリティアワード」の公式Webサイト内でご覧いただけます。 csa.digitalpolicyforum.jp
