I feel like some of my stuff might be jealous of the rest. The jealous shoes will be like, 'Why does he wear that particular pair more often than he wears us?' The teacups will be like, 'He likes that one more than us.' One day I’ll hold a meeting with them. 🤞🏾

Don’t talk about humanity. You passed the anti homosexuality law to erase humankind and you claim that you don’t support crimes against humanity. Shame on you!!

While President Tinubu was busy signing a deal to deport Nigerians from the UK, this is what Ghana was doing. Ghana has signed a new defence agreement with the European Union aimed at strengthening security cooperation as Islamist militant activity intensifies across West Africa. The deal was signed in Accra by EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas and Ghana’s Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang. It focuses on key areas including counterterrorism, cybersecurity, border protection and maritime security. Ghanaian officials say the agreement marks a significant step, with Vice President Opoku-Agyemang describing Ghana as the first African country to enter into such a partnership with the EU. Although Ghana has largely avoided direct militant attacks, neighbouring countries including Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger have seen escalating violence from groups linked to al-Qaeda and the Islamic State. The instability has displaced millions, particularly in Burkina Faso, and raised concerns about spillover into Ghana. At the signing, Ghana’s National Security Coordinator Osman Abdul Razak said the agreement reflects growing efforts to address emerging threats both nationally and across the region. As part of the cooperation, the EU has supplied military equipment to Ghana, including drones, anti-drone systems, bomb disposal vehicles and motorcycles to support security operations. Security analysts warn that militants have increasingly used Ghana as a transit and regrouping point, particularly along its northern border, underscoring the urgency of strengthened defence partnerships. #MMINews
