Today, one of the most horrific things happened to me. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. At 3 AM, my father received a call saying my grandmother had a heart attack and they were rushing her to the hospital. After hearing that, my eyes filled with tears, but somehow I managed to control myself. In the morning, I still went to the office. Throughout the day, I had only one thought: “I don’t want to lose her, please God.” I sent all my savings to my elder brother. My eyes were wet the whole day, and I wasn’t feeling well, but I still tried my best not to show any emotion because I didn’t want to share anything with them yet. Around 3 PM, I finally heard that she had regained consciousness, and I felt a huge sense of relief. I can’t explain how I got through the entire workday while thinking about all of this.
