If I was 19 in 2026 I'd spend every Saturday shadowing the owner of a local boring businesses (for free). I’d learn how they generate leads, what their fulfilment looks like, and analyze every aspect of their operations. Then offer to build them one AI workflow a week in exchange for a piece of the upside.

Pulled my kids out of school in September. Replaced the curriculum with a 9-module AI training program I built in Notion. My daughter, 11, has built 3 Zapier workflows and a lead-gen sequence for a business she doesn't have. She said she misses 'learning history.' I ran a cost-benefit analysis. She lost.

I'll die on this hill. Teaching a 15 year old how to prompt is more useful than another year of SAT prep.

Best money I've ever spent as a CEO... AI obsessed humans. People that are addicted to making every aspect of their workflow 10x more efficient. People that want to find ways to replace themselves to move up and solve a bigger, hairier (and higher paying) problem. Such underrated people to have in your org.

Prediction: We will start to see “AI layoffs” as token spend becomes a significant line item on a P&L.

Every time Anthropic ships something new I get more bullish on owning the car wash, the porta-potty business, the waste management company. The assets AI can't eat are the ones where someone has to show up, roll up their sleeves, and do something with their hands.
