I think a big reason why I enjoy agentic coding so much is that I don't get stuck anymore. No more analysis paralysis when I encounter a difficult problem or design decision. I let the AI help me make a decision, and then I move on. And refactoring is easier now.

I barely type anymore. All voice dictation using @WisprFlow. Even with my German accent, I get ~95% accuracy. It even tags files in @cursor_ai automatically.

Enough is enough

Back when I played online poker professionally, I realized that no invention ever makes life easier. It just makes the game more competitive. AI is the same. CEOs now have to pay thousands in AI tokens every month, not to get a head start, but to even have a chance in the market.

The thing about pressing red is that I'm fine with blue winning. Good for blue if they pull it off. I suspect that if there was an actual threat of death, though, far less people would vote blue than in some fake poll.

A cool trick for unauthorized.tsx in Next.js: You can make it a client component and read the current pathname. Then add that as a redirect param to the URL. Read that param on your login page and redirect the user back to their target location.

When I burned out from my previous job in 2016 and wanted to do something else, I thought "What would be the most enjoyable work that I could do every day without hating my life but still make money?" The answer was programming. Soon after, I started my YouTube channel to document my learning journey. I called it "Coding in Flow" because coding easily puts you into a flow state where time flies and you're having fun.

I've injured my hand and I am unable to work on a keyboard for probably weeks/months... Can anyone recommend dictation apps to at least work on texts? They all can transform spech to text. But is there anyone I could also use to refine texts. Like go a few sentences back and rework that sentence. Or just some tiny things like changing words etc. Seems they all fail at that step.
