Michael Adams, KY Secretary of State
On Saturday, 46,955 Kentuckians used early voting - 27,516 Republicans, 18,823 Democrats and 616 Independents. That is a 74% (!) increase from early voting in the last comparable election, the midterm primary in May 2022.

For those who were on Twitter before the 2024 Presidential Primary, which group of people is worse: Massie supporters or DeSantis supporters?

➡️ Bad Congressman Tom Massie voted against Tax Cuts, the Border Wall, our Military and Law Enforcement," Trump wrote in another Sunday morning Truth Social post. "Actually, he voted against almost everything that is good. The Worst Republican Congressman in History. Kentucky, vote the bum out on Tuesday. We can’t live with this troublemaker for another two years. He is a true negative force!!!

The loud crescendo of anti-Israeli influence on US elections is ironic, considering you never hear complaints from them about other nations throwing money into the system.🤔 They use the principle of being against foreign influence on elections as a cloak for their antisemitism.
Randy Fine@VoteRandyFine

.@RepThomasMassie says he doesn’t like foreign influence in Congress, but like everything else about this scumbag, it’s just a cover for his Jew hatred. He is personally advising the #1 Jew hater in the world, a foreign citizen of Armenia, on how to get elected to Congress. Disgusting. Vote @EdGallrein to rid us of this Nazi-lover.

@treswatson Tres — he won’t. He could, but hasn’t and will not. Why is that? 🤔 His supporters have been loudly claiming online that AIPAC and Israel are single handedly swinging this election in Gallrein’s favor, as if KY-04 voters have no agency to decide who to vote for on their own.

I like Thomas Massie, personally. He and I very frequently disagree on policy and that's ok, that's America. However, I wish he would call out the antisemitic trash in the comments and replies on social media posts re: his campaign (1/2)

The liberal media LOVES Thomas Massie. This, among many other things, should be a major red flag to Republican voters. 🚩 Vote @EdGallrein on May 19 in #KY04

RE: My Rant on Thomas Massie Supporters [THIS POST IS DIRECTED AT MASSIE SUPPORTERS AND NO ONE ELSE.] I am sick and tired of Massie supporters stating how “disappointed” they are at me for calling out his constant perfidy. I oppose Massie precisely because I so strongly support conservatism. Massie always TALKS a good conservative game, but when push comes to shove and actual ACTION is needed, he is the Democrat’s best friend. Don’t cite some rating agency’s “conservative score” for Massie in a feeble attempt to contradict me. When his vote is not needed, he votes conservative. But when his vote IS needed, he grandstands as the toxic narcissist he is, mumbles about his precious “principles,” and then ensures that things go the Democrat’s way. Politics requires some level of compromise. Always has. Always will. Anyone who refuses to ever compromise does the bidding of the people he/she disagrees with. Massie talks about supporting Republicans while his actions and inactions (the ones that actually matter) support Democrats. And Epstein? Show me what Massie has done that actually holds criminals accountable on the Epstein matter. And guess what? Criticizing Massie on his disgusting exploitation of Epstein victims for his own personal gain does not make me a “pedophile protector,” you ignorant, libelous tools. There is a reason that the New York Times, rabid Marxist Ro Khanna and Crazy Candace Owens all support Thomas Massie. If you are a Massie supporter, I adjudge you as being indistinguishable from the NYT, Khanna and Crazy Candace. That’s the company you keep, you conservatism-hating Massie supporters. Don’t like it? Don’t follow me. Go follow the Krassensteins, as that’s where your beliefs align as a practical matter. Now beat it. (And no, Israel did not pay me $7,000 to post this, you paranoid antisemitic monsters.) ****RANT OVER****

This is the average Thomas Massie supporter ⬇️ 😂 Vote @EdGallrein on May 19 KY4!
Ryan 🥪@ursuscamp

@KYCooperrider @Jtodd601 I have voted in every election since I was old enough, and I will not vote again if Massie loses the primary, except to vote for whoever the Democrat is out of pure spite.

The fear mongering that the Israel lobby is the sole reason @EdGallrein has support in KY-04 is such an INSULT to the voters. As if the voters are too stupid to think for themselves and decide which candidate they support. Or rather, which incumbent they DON’T support.
Justin@JustinUSA

Ana Kasparian tells Megyn Kelly: “I am terrified that he [Ed Gallrein] is going to beat Massie in the primary.” Why are progressives so concerned about a “Republican” losing? KY primary voters should be made aware of Massie’s broad Democrat support.

@KYCooperrider I disagree. If the Republicans run a gubernatorial candidate that excites voters they will turn out. Massie underestimated how badly he burned the bridge with Republican voters imo. His ego got in the way. Many Republican KY4 voters feel disenfranchised. Gallrein likely wins

If Massie loses in KY-4, I think Democrats will stand a real chance of winning the governorship again in 2027. Kentucky holds off-year gubernatorial elections, and turnout in the general election is much lower than in presidential election years. For comparison, 1.3 million votes were cast in the 2023 gubernatorial general election, while just over 2 million votes were cast in the 2024 general election. Because of this, gubernatorial elections have always been about which side can better turn out its voters in an off-year race. There is such a stark age divide in the Massie race. We know older voters will almost always turn out no matter what. Younger voters are more likely to stay home. Republicans need those younger voters to turn out if they want to win a Republican governorship in Kentucky. Frankly, it will take years to get voters under 62 re-engaged and willing to turn out at the levels they did before. For this reason, I think that behind closed doors, Beshear, Coleman, and Adkins are really hoping for a Massie loss. Over 62 may not like younger voters and may hate Massie, but the numbers don’t lie. Republicans need that younger voter coalition to turn out to win off-year elections.

I have my issues with Massie. But credit where credit's due: He's one of the few Republicans brave enough to call out systemic racism. As someone who has many times thought to myself, "We really need more black people with guns in America," I will be voting for Thomas Massie.
Lucky Teter@TheMagaHulk

"This system's racist!" Thomas Massie believes the most important issue facing Kentucky is that Blacks and Hispanics may initially fail a background check when purchasing a gun. He then brags about working with Sheila Lee Jackson and Hank Johnson to make it easier for Black Americans to buy guns.
