@BrennenJohnso Reminded me of when Dad planted 25lbs to the acre. Then we would run a scratcher to thin it out. 🤪

@codymull Definitely would have plenty of push that we’re looking for!

@swksfarmer They went about 100’, got out to check seed depth and realized what happened. Got it fixed for the rest of the field.

@BillBackhaus @BASFAgProducts Very good! It’s fun teaching the next generation of Agriculturalists!

Teaching ~110 of our @BASFAgProducts customer’s summer interns #Corn & #Soybean crop scouting techniques today at the BASF Story City IA Research Farm. Great groups & our future in #agriculture is bright! Planned problems & had the students identify the problems & present back.

@joshabbottband Was it that Red F150 single cab? I remember that truck. Loved your Dad, he was a great man and better Father.

Getting the @BASFAgProducts showcase plots planted in front of the B&TD station in Lubbock today. Highlighting our new #AxantFlex cotton trait and Alite 27. Also have PGR trials and breeding trials with our class of ‘25 & ‘26 varieties. Thanks @hixsona @dan4tha & @tannersdrake

@speerman42 This is a sand fighter. A lot of growers are using cover crops to help minimize the sand from blowing, but on years like this it is nearly impossible to grow a cover crop. These are mostly used after the crop is planted and we get a rain that slicks off the soil surface.

@speerman42 I think an employee would allow you to have more time with family. Maybe an extra vacation at some point. It would give you time to spend learning and thinking about how to better your operations.

@AnnCoulter That is the most idiotic statement I have heard in a long time! That’s as bad as something FJB would say.

If farmers ran the world, we'd still be sweeping, instead of vacuuming, and washing our clothes in rivers, instead of washing machines.
Why should Americans be forced to subsidize this one industry's refusal to move into the 1900s?

What's happened to the U.S. #cotton industry since 1997? This journey started with germplasm from #Australia and basically changed how farmers grow the world's fiber. Happy 25th Anniversary to #FiberMax
