The first few cutups I watched I was like “wtf position does he play?” because he was laying hits in the box then he was covering WRs in the slot to then covering a deep 3rd of the field
My vision and fit for him with the 49ers is at safety but a guy who could be a sub-LB or nickel CB if needed even though Stout is locked in there
Immediately jumped off the tape and his versatility is an even bigger plus seeing action at both safety and nickel in college

#49ers lose their primary returner from last season. Moore arrived in a trade just before the season and provided some spark there.

Not that I wouldn’t welcome a trade for him, I just don’t think John Lynch would give up the draft capital it would cost to bring in a guy with issues. We’ll see

The #49ers and LG Ben Bartch have mutual interest in a potential return to San Francisco, per @mattbarrows.
Bartch stepped in late last season and gave the 49ers offensive line some much-needed depth and stability.
If he returns, it keeps continuity on the interior OL while the team evaluates long-term solutions through the draft and free agency.
