@thoucynical_ @GwenSaren @maxdubler In some ways, I would rather live in the tower because location is the most important thing and I would rather live closer to the places I need to be. But I still live a 20 minute bike ride to most places I go on most days and that’s pretty good.

@thoucynical_ @GwenSaren @maxdubler I share walls just like the people in the tower dont. Like them, I don’t have a yard (and I don’t want one, there’s a park across the street and it’s free and doesn’t cost me an extra $200k), like them, I don’t have a garage and don’t want one. Americans just use them to hoard.

@GwenSaren @maxdubler The only reason I’m a homeowner is because a multifamily unit (townhouse) is about half the price to buy vs an equal sq footage single family detached house. Also costs siginificantly less to maintain, heat, cool, etc…

@maxdubler While multi-family buildings are inhumane for human living standards this is still a based move.

@MenaB719 @vivian39_ You act like there aren’t already existing places that put cars last in priority and disable/elderly people get around in those places just fine Most disabled people don’t even drive and most elders shouldn’t be It’s also humiliating to depend on someone else to drive you around

@vivian39_ That’s not really how it’s works since it gives them less infrastructure to work with. It also makes driving harder during winter and other times when weather is bad. Not to mention families with young children who use cars as lockers for things like diaper bags.

every parking lot in a city center is just a housing crisis lying flat on the ground in the sun waiting for someone to build on it. we don't have a land shortage we have an asphalt addiction

@breeze_kurtis @a_past24460 Wrong. There is still an elite, private, wealthy class. Much wealthier than anyone in the government. Often buying off people in other parties Not a major difference between what they did and what Norway did, just in how they diversified and what other countries they ally with

@cogs13j @a_past24460 And yet only the people in government were wealthy while the people were starved and oppressed. Though the same could be said for capitalism, just not quite as severe. But still pretty bad.

@breeze_kurtis @a_past24460 Venezuela is 70% private sector. About the same as Norway and Canada. Oil is only one industry, not the entire economy.

@a_past24460 What socialist countries? Venezuela and Cuba are communist, and Iran is pretty much a fascist dictatorship.

@A1nz00al60wn @Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 The fascist DHS will distort figures to paint any narrative they want. That also leaves out asylum seekers, who Trump himself invited with open arms the first time he tried and failed to overthrow the Venezuelan government in his Bay of Piglets.

@wyattreed13 @DNIGabbard I guess the enriched uranium wasn’t something that you cared about being a threat to everyone? If that’s the case, then people can see you’re a retard.

Donald Trump was overwhelmingly elected by the American people to be our President and Commander in Chief. As our Commander in Chief, he is responsible for determining what is and is not an imminent threat, and whether or not to take action he deems necessary to protect the safety and security of our troops, the American people and our country.  The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is responsible for helping coordinate and integrate all intelligence to provide the President and Commander in Chief with the best information available to inform his decisions.  After carefully reviewing all the information before him, President Trump concluded that the terrorist Islamist regime in Iran posed an imminent threat and he took action based on that conclusion.

@A1nz00al60wn @Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 Very few came in illegally. The vast vast majority of undocumented came in legally and overstayed a visa or are late on paperwork. You have this idiotic cartoonish idea that millions are just pouring over the physical border and it’s not remotely true.

@cogs13j @Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 "deporting illegal immigrants that came in illegally isnt 100% the same as deporting and murdering legal citizens that were born in the country and there at birth, but its close enough that its the same thing!" Are you a fucking idiot? EVERY country deports illegal immigrants.

@A1nz00al60wn @Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 You’re such a fucking idiot, saying because the comparison isn’t 100% a one to one comparison means there’s nothing to see here and no comparison to be made. Obviously it wouldn’t look exactly the same as it did then.

@cogs13j @Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 Denaturalizing isnt bad, its actually quite good to get rid of people that lied to get into the USA and get citizenship. If its found out they lied to get in, deport them. Hitler was revoking citizenship from people born there and deporting them. If trump has deported 1/

@A1nz00al60wn @Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 And I don’t say this as a Trump is Hitler thing or even a Hitler was unique thing. He wasn’t and isn’t. Hitler was inspired by America, not the other way around. If you want to commmit genocide, Americans are the GOAT. If you want an apartheid system, Americans made the blueprint

@A1nz00al60wn @Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 He denaturalized them first before deporting them, the way Trump talks about denaturalizing. Often sending them to a concentration camp on foreign soil. Most of their concentration camps weren’t in Germany. He sent them to Auschwitz the same way Trump sends them to El Salvador.

@A1nz00al60wn @Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 The holocaust didn’t start until the 40s. Hitler didn’t start out with a genocide, he gradually got to that point. The concentration camps weren’t industrial level death camps at first. It took several years to turn them into that.

@Acidicjoe2 @TristanBeMe101 When you call everyone and everything Hitler, then yeah, it waters down the name. Hitler killed over 10m people systemically and even more if you count the deaths from the war. Trump has killed... how many?
