My lobbyists are very nervous about me posting this, but over-regulation is working against us all. The costs are astronomical to us all, but hidden. So, I'm taking a risk, and sharing my stories from Charm and Revoy: rein.pk/over-regulatio…

Cooking with gas again: 🤮. So inferior in every way. So we're anxious to get rid of the range and oven soon.

Hey @sdamico, exciting to see the @ImpulseLabs_ induction range shipping! We just moved, and sadly left our induction range/oven behind. New house will require 240v wiring for new range/oven. Obviously the ability to run your range on 120V is super intriguing. But... that still leaves us looking for an oven! Do you have suggestions for folks looking to pair your range with a quality electric oven? Any that can run on 120V as well? Any plans to enable your battery to power both range and oven??

Orphaned oil and gas wells are a serious issue for local communities, liabilities, and industry This is incredible work and shows how carbon removal is bigger than just removing carbon @CharmIndustrial is plugging wells and removing carbon

@reinpk @mcuban fun to hear you offset your air travel emissions! Ever considered removing them as well? We don't do stadium deals, we're converting abandoned oil assets & putting the bio-oil we make back where crude oil used to be.

@PeterOlivier a totally insane tie-in to CDR - silver lining that it might get mainstream folks talking about CDR

fwiw, hilarious and sad that everyone has agreed that if you're gonna do some light fraud, tree-planting is the default way to get it done and, no rest for my actual tree planting heroes out there, smh
NBACentral@TheDunkCentral

BREAKING: Kawhi Leonard allegedly signed a $28M “no-show job” endorsement deal with a fraudulent tree-planting company secretly funded by $50M from Clippers owner Steve Ballmer, per @PabloTorre Sources say it was all “to circumvent the salary cap.”😳

Bio-oil carbon removal credits have sold for $600/t for years, but everything points to the price dropping below $200/t as it ramps up, not with megafacilities, but with many efficient pyrolysers in the field. New peer reviewed TEA just released.

@jasonaramburu This other paper from late last year does a nice job of articulating the utility of both multi-century and multi-millenia removals in the conclusion. IMO we should value a range of durabilities for their relative utilities. nature.com/articles/s4324…

@cohnbucha Haha I will bite back. The abstract sounds great if you are invested in DAC. But I don’t see where they actually make the case in the full text for why geologic storage is needed over durable, multi-century removals (eg biochar, rock weathering, ocean-based storage etc).

Are we at a point in the CDR hype cycle where we can finally admit that the concept of “permanent” carbon removal was basically made up? The sooner we admit this, the sooner we can focus on delivering what buyers actually want.

Every wildfire starts with an ignition – downed powerlines, lightning, arson – and we can do a lot to reduce these. But in California the number of fires has dropped while the area burned has doubled. What has changed is conditions, not ignitions:
