You just see them everywhere because cults go viral. You’re a victim of Survivorship bias. What you DONT see is traders of ACTUAL prop firms, hedge funds, trading floors… Because they’re not on the social media bubble. Guess what THEY use. 1. Orderflow. 2. Option flow. 3. Fundamental Sentiment. 4. Quantitative models You just don’t see them on social media. They stay silent. They’re not marking a couple mils flipping demo accounts out of scammy prop firm ponzis. They trade real money, in the real markets, with real size. At a level that most of the retail trading space can’t even fathom.

@Sharktradess @andreacimi I mean to be honest with you brotha. If you can’t flip your small port into a bigger one, why would you trust yourself with 50-150k of capital. It is very difficult to grow a small port and it takes years which is why people resort to prop firms. But you’re totally right.

Can we pause the endless ICT vs. SMC debate for a minute and talk about the real problem? Capital. Let's be honest. How is a normal retail trader supposed to get access to "whale" money? You think you can just walk into a hedge fund without a shit-load of money spent on degrees and connections? That door is locked for us. What's the common trait of 90% of retail traders? They're broke. They don't have the money for the degree, and they don't have the funds to trade big. So what's their only option? Prop firms. It's the only path to real capital for a guy with a skill. Yes, I know there are scams. I know there are dirty practices. But 99% lose and 1% win. How is that any different from the "real" market? The game is designed for the majority to fail. What do you think would happen if everyone started to win? The whole system would break.
