It's not even a hot take anymore to say crypto is broken. It's 2025 and founders STILL raise millions then disappear. Investors get rugged daily. Regulators threaten to nuke everything because, frankly, they have good reason to. We're not even doing anything about it? How many projects need to turn their communities into internet-native bread lines before we realize "revolutionary" just means "elaborate exit scam"? Don't even get me started on memecoins. We've come too far to settle for memecoins. There has to be a better way. Crypto tech is still actually revolutionary. The problem isn't the tech. It's that we've been building on quicksand instead of solid foundations. Decent exists because we're sick of accepting that decentralization means crypto just has to suffer rugs without recourse. Or shitty UX. Or regulatory risk. Crypto was supposed to be better than web2. It still can be. Crypto is FULL of decent, idealistic people building incredible things. Decent exists to give decent people a better way forward - a safer way that's true to crypto's decentralized promise. We need a path forward that destroys barriers to entry, protects investors, and holds founders accountable while still empowering them with the freedom to change the world. We're calling it the movement to make crypto unruggable. We're giving founders and investors/tokenholder communities a US-first way to launch, scale, and invest in safer, compliant crypto projects that have no fear of regulatory uncertainty. Giving founders a startup framework that doesn't require spending six figures on offshoring or legal, and that can run even more efficiently than traditional startups. We're building in compliance automation so founders can build legally, easily. Decent's not another memecoin launch platform. Don't let this pump fool you. Crypto's FDV to user value ratio is ~$500,000 per user. Companies with actual PMF like Apple and YouTube are between $200-$500. Crypto is insanely overvalued. Unless we get real apps onchain and in a safe way, we're, what's the word, fucked.
